“New Look” in National Museum in Gdansk

The new edition of Permanent Exhibition presents a selection of works that have been included in the collections of the National Museum of Gdansk over the past 20 years. The authors of most of the works shown are artists debuting after 2000. The “New Look” exhibition is a presentation of the most important phenomena, trends and artistic tendencies in Polish art of recent decades. The works are exhibited without maintaining a linear and chronological division, but they focus on key cultural and social discourses, taking into account an important aspect of Gdansk’s history – related to the idea of ​​freedom and solidarity.
